Data we collect
We do not collect personal data. idpic.app processes your images entirely in your browser. No photo, face, or biometric data is transmitted to our servers.
On-device processing
All image processing — background removal, cropping, brightness correction — runs locally in your browser using WebAssembly and the Web APIs. Your photos never leave your device.
Third-party services
idpic.app loads AI models from Google (MediaPipe via jsDelivr CDN and Google Cloud Storage) for face detection and image segmentation. These models run entirely in your browser — no image data is sent to Google or any third party. We also use ipapi.co to detect your country for pre-selecting the correct document format; only your IP address is used, and no personal data is stored.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data. This service does not use cookies, does not collect personal information, and does not track individual users across sites.
Cookies
We store a single cookie to remember your preferred language. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
Children's privacy
idpic.app is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
Data retention
Because all processing happens on your device, we do not retain any photos, face data, or biometric information. There is no server-side data to delete.
